Sausage Quiche

Yesterday I decided to make this lovely Sausage Quiche for breakfast… It was so easy, and so simple. And I can guarantee you your family will love this.  The recipe says to use a 19-inch unbaked deep dish pie shell.  But I will post a very easy alternative, if you want to make your own shell like I did.


1/2 cup cheese
1/2 pound Sausage
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 x Tomato cubed
2 eggs
1/4 cup Mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup milk
1 9-inch unbaked deep dish pie shell


Preheat oven to 350. In a large skillet, cook sausage until well browned, stirring frequently. Drain off grease and set aside. Whisk together eggs, Ranch dressing, sour cream and milk. Add sausage, cheese and Tomato. Stir to combine. Pour egg mixture into prepared pie crust. Bake 1 hour. Allow quiche to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

The end result was absolutely delicious.  And my family was smiling from ear to ear. I would definitely give this a double thumbs up.



For the Home made crust:images.jpg
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup ice water
Mix flour and salt with fork. Beat oil and water with whisk or fork to thicken. Pour into flour and mix with fork. Press into 9″ pie crust. Fill with quiche mixture and bake at 380F until done.
